First Term Report Cards will come home on Wed Feb. 13th for students in Gr. 1-8 and Communication of Learning for Year 1 and 2 K students. Please refer to attached to view a letter addressing the Gr. 1-8 reports cards, and a letter addressing the Year 1 and 2 K reports. Please note neither of these letters will come home as a hard copy. As a school, we have been working hard to help our students improve in their academics. The Ministry of Education has set rigorous standards for students to reach in the areas of Literacy and Numeracy and our goal as a school is to always work towards improving student performance.

As a staff, we have discussed the importance of fair and accurate assessments and for the need to provide parents with an accurate assessment of how their child is doing at school, so that together, we can work to help students improve in all areas. As a staff, we have spent a great deal of time and effort designing our programs and discussing the importance of knowing what level a student is performing at so that we can develop ways to help them improve. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child’s teacher as soon as possible. Remember that together we can work for the betterment of all!
